Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, another absolutely pathetic offensive showing by this group of morons.
I hope they feel really good about themselves, getting beaten by some of the worst pitchers in baseball.
This is what happens when you come to the ballpark overconfident, and not ready to play. It would take an awful lot to convince me otherwise, but what I saw was just pathetic. This has gotten really old.
They just do not look like they're ready to play. Popping up the ball missing pictures down the middle. Pathetic

They won 16 out of the last 17 against Colorado so they probably felt they could cruise. Krukow warned at this time of year, the records should be ignored.

He was right.
I know athletes, maybe not pro guys, but I know athletes; when they're playing teams they should be EASILY, they just don't focus as hard. Their prep gets Lax, and whether they want to admit it or not, they don't play as hard or as smart.
And that's what I saw in games 1 and 2.
They fought all year to GET to this point... and their choking, AGAIN, in front of their fans and worse, each other!

Rockies are not chopped liver. They got two good rookies Jones and Tovar. This time of year, if they’re not in it they will play spoiler.

They're starting staff is pretty much as bad as it gets. So I disagree with you.
They've got one or two guys who can hit, but that's it. Not being able to exploit their terrible hurlers is a crime beyond belief, in my humble opinion

Good one! I was describing the Rockies, but you could make a point that it describes us too

Not being able to exploit their terrible hurlers is a crime beyond belief, in my humble opinion I get that the Rockies pitchers have bad stats but they are numbers inflated by playing at Coors Field. Winning 16 out of the previous 17 was something they needed to realize was not sustainable. Krukow always cautions that at the end of the season, the only way for a bad team to feel good is to ruin it for someone else. In the big leagues, no team can be taken lightly and I'm afraid that's what the Giants did. At the end of the season, if they want to point where things went wrong, they can point to games against teams like Colorado, Kansas City, Washington, etc which were teams they should have beaten. The Rockies do have a bad record but they are not automatic wins. And for guys like Austin Wynns, Ty Blach, Connor Joe, etc, they are playing with the old ex-Giant chip on their shoulder.
