Well GK did it again. I am definitely not a Jacob Jonas fan, but in this instance there was no reason to pull them! He had good movement on his fastball good snap on his slider and good location.
To me this is a classic instance of a manager over managing.
Like he's saying to himself these boys can't score I got to Win It. Instead he's likely to lose it. Way to go GK

Each time he does it, it says "I don't trust you"

I did not appreciate that they pinch hit for Yaz in the 7th last night. He's hot and they still used Flores to pinch hit for him.

My opinion is that GK believes HE is the guy who has to step up and win this thing.
Wrong.
It is also my opinion that he is over managing at this point, ESPECIALLY because Cleveland has a good mix in the pen of lefties and righties, and that Yaz might have been needed later IF Cleveland countered late with a RHP.
Of course, that said, a point could be made that the game was at a point where you couldn't wait and HOPE for a better match up later.
And to be fair, this was how we won so many in 2021, and it is how GK has done things all along.
And all THAT SAID, I still would show/push/shove Kapler (out) the door at the end of the season.
