Feast or Famine
Penthouse or Outhouse...
Yeah. Both describe this team so far, and I have a feeling that's what we're going to see most of the year.
Well... maybe not most of the year.
When hitters like Villar, and Sabol and maybe Johnson get used to the pitching they're facing, maybe not so much.
But as I said, Weeks before FZ said it, this group has the potential have at least 5... maybe 6 guys (based on at bats) to hit 20+ HRs.
Here's my best guesses. (Of course, this is if they stay healthy. If they don't, guys like Davis and Flores will get many more at bats)
Conforto-25-29 Pederson-25-29 Hanniger-24-28 Yaz-23-26 Wade-23-25 Villar- 20-22 (with the potential to be much higher) Estrada-15 19 Davis-14-18 (Not likely to get enough at bats to hit more) Flores 14-17 (SHOULDN'T be allowed to get more than 350 at bats...PERIOD) What we've seen from Wilmer is, the more he plays, the less effective he is.
Anyway you spell this one, this is one, powerful line up!

They just signed Darin Ruf to a minor league contract but he probably will not be ready for a while because he is dealing with a bad wrist.

As much as I love Ruf, I do not want his station to station speed w/the team

I don’t want him back either but it goes to show that what FZ says and does are two different things.

You've said that before, and you are certainly correct.
