I remember Jesus very, very well!
As a 14 year old player, I emulated his goofy, herky-jerky set up style at the plate.
So much so, it once caused me to embarrass an umpire when I inadvertently dropped my bat on the plate on a check swing that was called a strike, with which I disagreed.
oops!
I had forgotten that Matty died years earlier.
I was a BIG Felipe fan while in my youth, and to a lesser extent, a fan of Matty, and then Jesus.
I followed Matty when he went to Pittsburgh, and taught to chop down on the ball by Harry the Hat Walker, causing Matty to become a very good hitter.
This is sad...and I feel badly for Felipe.

The Alou brothers were favorites of mine when I was younger. I've read that Jesus had a series of "cardiovascular accidents" before he passed so it must have been rough for him at the end.
