I said when we picked him up, I was not a fan. And I have seen nothing tonight to change my opinion.
His mid 4 and run average in Kansas city was not an illusion.
This Guy is not a starter. He's a 2 pitch pitcher, and should be used out of the bullpen.
I don't even want to see him as a spot starter.

When two member of the rotation are done for the season and one is dealing with a blister, he's adequate. He did well for the Giants with limited talent but I'm thinking if a guy like that is on your team or on a playoff roster, the team is in trouble. That said, Junis starting is a better option than a bullpen game.

I don't disagree. He is a better option than the bullpam game.
My comment was more predicated on the fact that I don't want them penciling him in for a starter, or a spot starter next year.
I believe hes a 2 pitch pitcher comer and is better suited to the bullpen.

If he's considered a number three pitcher on the rotation, there is a problem. Farhan was talking about guys who would fill out starts when the others could not go and in an ideal world, he is a sixth starter and better than going to a bullpen game.
