Personally, I can't wait for this 'season' to be over.
So many reasons, but one of the many was on display again yesterday; we played DOWN to our competition.
Facing pitching staff of sub par, below average pitchers, and, with so many of the Giants 'claiming' it felt like post season excitement... they scored only 2 runs.
2 runs. That's incredibly sad... no, check that, pathetic.
Tyler Head Case Bedee was exactly what he was with us; a guy with great stuff, and zero command.
The guys that replaced him had better command, but still, 2 runs? Against a staff of putzes?
And they REALLY think they can compete and make the playoffs?
I think they need a serious reality check... which starts with a look at their under achieving selves in the nearest mirror.

For Logan Webb and Thairo Estrada, they used the games this weekend (as well as the Posey and Clark games) as motivation. Fangraphs gives them about a 4% chance of making the playoffs as a wild card but they're 6 back and have to pass two teams for the sixth spot. Everyone knows they probably won't make it. Webb mentioned that when Posey, Clark, or the WS Champs are in the house, they don't want to look bad. They didn't look good but for the younger players, they took their motivation from whereever they could.
