The more I see this guy swing the bat, the more I see his approach at the plate, the more I like this guy!
As Kruk and Kuip continue to point out, his swings are very balanced.
I like the way he uses the whole field, and even though he hasn't hit the ball out to left he has shown the ability to drive the ball that way.
When guys start to return, it'll be interesting to see what they do with him.

I could say the same about Vosler. Good defense and I love his swing.

I almost included him in my post, boagie.
I should have.
I liked him last year and his defense is soooooo much better than that of Flores.
I like Wilmer right where he is: DH

Until I looked it up, I didn't realize he was 28! And he spent a couple of seasons in the Korean league.
You're right; For guys like him, as Elvis once sang, "It's now or never..."

The roster churn has become confusing. Today is the day that rosters go from 28 to 26 and they also traded for Isan Diaz who is an infielder who was part of the Yelich trade. I think Farhan is trying to take advantage of the confusion caused by the roster contractions and using the roster flexibility caused by COVID to make a lot of moves, hopefully keeping it under the radar. To be honest, though, most of these guys probably won't amount to much but Zaidi seems to find value in players like this.
We should also be seeing some reinforcements soon. Lamonte Wade Jr is hitting .357 in Sacramento as appears more than ready. LaStella and Longoria are going to start rehab. We probably should not expect Ramos because he is slumping in Sac.
