The parade in LA for the Rams is today and I'm hearing that Lebron and some of the Dodgers want to tack on since they won in 2020 and did not get a parade. Problem with the Lakers is that only four members of that team are still on the team and they currently have a losing record. Dodgers are in a similar situation because they failed to defend their sixty game World Series championship. If I'm a Ram player, I wouldn't be too happy about sharing the attention but let's see how this plays out later on today. I think their time has come and gone and it seems they want to attach themselves to the Rams without incurring the expense (we are looking at Justin Turner, Joc, and Lebron).

If the Rams invited them to the parade I don't have a problem with that. But considering Lebron is one of the biggest egomaniacs to walk the earth, I imagine he believes he's got an open invitation to anything he wants.

The 45 minute parade is over. No LeBron and no Dodgers. I guess the Rams didn't let them in. Besides, the Dodgers are locked out so they can't wear any Dodger gear or be near the logos.

Good! I'm a HUGE Ram fan... going back to 1958, and any team in any sport that wins it all deserves to have that team honored and ONLY that team.

I get that Lebron wants a parade in LA but it was for a bubble championship two seasons ago. They barely got into the playoff as a play-in team in 2021 and are under .500 now and Anthony Davis appears to have a serious injury. Lebron is shameless.
Also, I cannot fathom why the Rams would want to share a celebration. In terms of the sports teams heirarchy, in LA, they are behind the Dodgers, Lakers, two NCAA teams, and the Raiders. LA sports fanbases are not necessarily a unified whole. Ram fans are not necessarily Dodger fans or Laker fans. The Rams earned their championship while Dodgers and Laker took advantage of stacking their rosters in short pandemic seasons. The guy who is pushing for it the most on the Dodgers (Justin Turner) is the one that was walking around with COVID during the 2020 series celebration (potentially endangering an immunosuppressed Dave Roberts) and likely still does not understand that a parade at this time can still be a super-spreader event. Of the other two players pushing for the parade, one was not even on the championship team (Trea Turner) and the other just won a ring for the Atlanta Braves (Joc). How weird is that? I don't see why Trea Turner needs to celebrate a championship he did not participate in. Just goes to show how much the real world cares about teams that win a pandemic championship. The fanbase and communities know it is tainted. Anyone who follows sports or writes about sports will always attach an asterisk in the minds to it. The players themselves know it was not a championship in the traditional sense because they did not celebrate with their city or families. They won when they won. Lakers and Dodgers are old news.
