To give us an idea of how whacky the extremist group Q-Anon is, thousands of their followers gathered in Dallas a couple of days ago because they believed that John Kennedy, Jr., a first cousin of Donald Trump, would appear, revealing that he's not dead and announcing that he would run as Donald Trump's Vice-Presidential candidate in 2024. The weirdos gathered around Dealey Plaza, where JFK was shot.
But of course Trump wouldn't disavow Q-Anon on national TV during the election, instead lying that he didn't know anything about it, prompting NBC's Savannah Guthrie to proclaim, "You're the president, not somebody's crazy uncle."
Incidentally, Trump's niece begged to differ with Ms. Guthrie's characterization. A group of over 20 psychologists have gone on record as saying that Trump is mentally ill, so perhaps Guthrie was indeed wrong about the second part.
Matt admits that ex-president Trump is a narcissist. I asked my browser if narcissism is a mental illness. The answer came back: "Yes. According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V), Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is one of several personality disorders and is defined as a mental illness that is associated with a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration and lack of empathy."
Why would anyone support for someone who is mentally ill? Yes, support them in the sense of aiding them in getting help with their mental health, but don't vote for them.
