"The insurrection took place on November 3, Election Day. January 6 was the Protest!" -- Donald Trump close to two weeks ago.
Saw the Georgia Secretary of State that Trump tried to strong arm speaking. He brought up something that true Republicans should pay close attention to.
He said that the number of dead people voting for President in Georgia was 5. The number of criminals was 74. Trump lost by close to 12,000 votes, which is what on January 3rd he asked the Georgia Secretary of State to produce for him. The Secretary of State has the answer for Republicans: There were 28,000 people in Georgia who voted down ballot but abstained for President. Other Republicans got 20,000 more votes than Trump did. If just half the abstainers had voted and voted for Trump, he would have won Georgia.
Now, he still would have needed at least two more swing states to win the election, but it would have been a start. And doesn't it seem likely there were similar stories in other swing states? People who voted for other Republicans but abstained from voting for Trump (or perhaps even voted for Biden)?

Anyone else here agree that had Donald Trump not devalued the votes of Georgians with his false claims of cheating that the Republicans would still control the Senate? The Democrats needed to win BOTH runoff Senate seats in Georgia to take control of the Senate, and if Trump had campaigned more for the two Republican candidates instead of devaluing votes with his Big Lie, the Republicans would almost certainly have won at least one of the two seats.
Who was the last president to lose control of the house, the senate and the presidency in one term? Have we ever had a president who lost out by around 10 million popular votes over two elections?
Trivia quesiton: What is the difference between Donald Trump and me? Answer: I've never been registered as a Democrat.

They say the deciding Democrat voters that handed Trump his defeat were so mad about him claiming that the Democrats cheated that they were rolling in their graves.

That was a good one, Matt! After auditing and re-auditing, Georgia did find 5 dead people who voted. No word on whom they voted for.
