I am convinced, and I mean absolutely convinced that these guys have no idea how to hit with runners in scoring position.
Game after game, it's the same thing; chasing pitches that are not good pitches to hit.
I've seen this before. I've said this before. All of a sudden relaxed hitters become tight, trying to do too much to get the runner home.
Stay relaxed. Stay focused.
These are veteran hitters, not rookies. They should know better!
And as a fan I'm frankly sick of it!

I am following up on my own post. We have a team full of hitters who grind. Who work counts, who make pictures throw more pitches they intend.
But when Runners are in scoring position I guess they just throw that out the window!
No more patience. No more working counts, no more grinding at-bats.
First pitch that's near the strike zone in their flailing away!
That's the kind of stuff little Leaguers to do, that's high schoolers do that's not what professionals to do.
