I am a huge Kris Bryant fan, but I have grown tired, and I mean really tired, of watching him and his 1986 Matt Williams imitation fishing for every breaking ball down and away, not even close to the plate.
Me, and hopefully the rest of every Giants fan on the planet has seen enough of that crap!
He has been in the league far too long to be doing that nonsense and I have had enough!
I'm going to use an expression I haven't used in a long time; Bryant pull your head out of your fanny!

Im not impressed with Bryant.. Great power but strikes out way too much for my liking and as you stated shows very poor plate presence.. Prolly goes down as a big mistake in the history books.. I dont blame Farhan for making the trade, it just hasnt worked out

I like Bryant, Morty, but the more I watched Chris Bryant play this isn't the same Kris Bryant of a few years ago.
I still think it was a good move oh, but he's been very disappointing lately.

Bryant is currently dealing with a minor side injury he suffered Friday. It was bad enough that the Giants did an MRI on him. He might not go on the IL but he's definitely not at 100%.

Read, I understand that, but even prior to his tightness in his side, he was still fishing for darned near every breaking ball down in the way that he was thrown.
I referenced Matt Williams, because that's what he used to do in his first couple of Seasons with the Giants. Chris Bryant has been in Major League Baseball since 2015, and that should not be happening with a frequency that is happening at this stage in his career

Matt Williams was worse, it's not that he chased pitches out of the zone necessarily, the problem was he couldn't hit breaking pitches even if they were hung right down the middle. Pretty sure Bryant can hit hanging breaking balls.

Kris, in 2021 is not.
And had he done this only a few times, I'd understand that he just wasn't seeing the ball well.
But his has been going on since about the second week with us, and for a hitter of his stature, this is not cricket and he needs to fix it and fix it now.
We're running out of season.

I think Bryant is still kind of adapting to his surroundings and his role. He's too talented to not find his groove soon.

Cry doom and gloom all you want, Kris Bryant has done a good job since joining the team. The problem is you set your standards too high, especially Mordy, who could see a player hit three homeruns in a row, then call him a bum when he strikes out in his fourth at bat. He’ll be fine and he’ll be a huge factor in September and hopefully October too, and I hope he’s re-signed and spends the rest of his career in San Francisco.

It might be that Bryant has not yet adjusted to the Giants' grind grind grind hitting philosophy. I can see where the coaching staff would be less likely to tinker with an established superstar than one of their own players.
