I keep reading how we still have "one OF slot to fill," and I must admit, I'd like either one...probably Bradley more than Joc.
Why?
Defense.
Joc isn't bad in CF, but Bradley is the superior defender, and, IMHO, by a lot.
I like Dubon...but I just don't see him being that much of a hitter in CF.
The Giants want him to be a utility player, and I'm okay with that... but I've seen him play a fair amount of SS, and I'm not impressed.
His range is above average to good...but his release and delivery time at SS are not good.
Maybe he can improve that, but in the games I've seen him play at SS over the last 2 years I saw zero, none, no improvement.
Still, he's a better option than Solano there, and certainly a defensive upgrade at 2B over Solano.
Not with the bat, but with the glove.
IMHO, I believe I/we all watched Solano regress on defense last year.
I'm hoping though, that we can land one of the two.
That would make a pretty strong statement at the plate, what with the addition of La Stella vs RHP, but against LHP?
I only see Slater out there for Dickerson.

I guess Pederson is moot now, as he appears to have signed with the Cubs.
I'd still like Bradley

Until we get a decent pitching staff I don't see much point in investing more money into our position players. Let the kids play.
