Farhan is consistent, that's for sure, and I don't say that as if it was a bad thing.
He's been right too often to not respect his eye for talent.
None of the moves he's made so far, signing Brebbia, DeSclafani, Wisler and Vosler, are going to be THE move that vaults this team back into contention, but IMHO, they are all solid pickups.
It's just my opinion, but if I had to pick the ones whom I think will have the biggest impact next season, it would be Vosler and DeSclafani.
Both seem to have all of the traits that have vaulted other Farhan pick ups into being successful big league players.
Muncey and Taylor for the Dodgers, and for us, Yaz, Solano, Gausman, Dubon, Pomeranz and Gott.
I'm sure there are others I've missed, but, for my money, that's a pretty good return from rooting through the scrap pile.
At least he's not been doing what Evans did; depleting our farm system for over the hill vets like McCutchen.
At this point, I say, "so far, so good."
Now, I hope he keeps it up.

Good post. I see a lot of Dodger games- a confession: My wife is a born LAD fan.
And the trek for Farhan is a duplicate of the Dodgers. Including rebuilding the farm system.

Sorry about your wife being a Dodger fan, Gary.
That must be hard for you.
Farhan has done a nice, NICE job of rebuilding our farm system, to which you alluded, and also putting together a decent roster.
I couldn't stand the guy when we first got him, but I've learned that I was wrong about him.
Dead wrong!

What have you learned from your mistakes, Boly?
