Agree or not, here's what I've noticed about this team.
Whenever they play any team that's half way decent, they come to the ball park unprepared.
And I mean unprepared in all aspects of the game.
Yes, the other team is better, no question about that.
But what I usually see, other than Gausmann today, is pitchers not ready to attack the strike zone and/or throw strikes.
Nibbling is one thing, failure to get ahead, frequently falling behind, and then throwing fat strikes is another.
I consistently see hitters who are not ready to hit.
Swinging through hittable pitches, chasing crap way outta the strike zone, or simply taking hittable strikes.
We play an average to below average team, and everyone seems to relax and do their job.
It's like they're all pinching their butt-cheeks tightly together so the pea won't fall out.
