It's mid spring, or shortly there after, and this is what I've observed so far.
1-Slater-Same crappy at bats as last year
2-Sanchez-I can't see this guy making the club. His defense is excellent, but he can't hit.
3-Posey-First time I saw him swing I said, "This is different! This is the old Buster." And then Krukow began talking about how he now has his legs under him.
I don't disagree. What I saw was drive off of that back leg, and explosion off of his bat.
4-Hamilton-I don't see a place for him on the roster. He won't get on base enough.
5-Pence-This is the Hunter, albeit older, that I remember. Loud, hard contact off of his bat.
6-Anderson-4 outtings, 4 crappy outtings. Bad location
7-Gausman-Not sure I like his off speed stuff, such as it is, but I like the movement on his fastball. His stuff, however, seems more suited for relief.
We'll see.
8-Dubon-I'm liking him more and more each day.
9-Dickerson-From the 5 or 6 at bats I've seen, he looks to be struggling for contact.
10-Jaylin Davis-When... IF... he makes contact, his bat is explosive.
But he looks over matched in ST, right now. But man, that guy has power!
Still a couple of weeks to go, and time to certainly get things in gear, but so far...so far, that's what I've seen.

I agree with most of what you said here, Boly.
But here's where I don't..
Dickerson looks fine to me, if he's healthy he'll hit. No worries there.
Outside of that I agreed with you.
But it seems like you left out the biggest stories of the spring thus far.
Darin Ruf and Zach Green are killing the ball.
Bart and Ramos (before he got the injury) look fantastic. Ramos has an absolute cannon for an arm. These guys will be starting for us next year.
Most of all, I like the depth. Right now we have 10 guys batting over .400, and 17 batting over .300. Offensively they look very solid this spring thus far.
Our pitching is questionable, even more so now that Beede is out for a while. Theres not much hope for success when your best pitcher is probably Jeff Samardjiza. It makes me cringe to think about it.

I'm not worried about Dickerson either, boagie.
What I posted were just my initial look-sees.
I covered Ruf in a different post, and Green...I've only seen 3 or 4 at bats.
The ONLY games I get are the ones on MLB channel, and I haven't been able to catch all of those.
There was an article today about Green, and it sounded awesome!
Thing is, he has a long...long swing, and that concerns me; as in, lots of K's with a long sween.
Not impressed with what our bullpen arms have done at all.
I only saw Ramos get one at bat and never saw him make a play in the field.
