Just read Tyler Beede's comments about the new coaches where he calls them "more relatable."
Maybe I'm reading something into this, but the comment seems to imply that the younger players couldn't connect with the older coaches, for what ever reason.
Excuse me?
Youth dictating to whom they will best listen?
This rubs me wrong in so many ways, but is, in fact, a microcosm of today's world where youth no longer value the wisdom those who came before them acquired with age.
"Later Boomer" has become a rude put down for anyone who's a baby boomer, as if we don't know jack, and they have no reason to listen.
Perfect.
Just perfect.
A generation, Generation Z, in this case, who is condemning themselves to make, and thereby repeat, the same mistakes of those that have gone before them.
Perfect.
It's what they deserve.
A future guaranteed to be bereft with problems because they see themselves as "too smart," to listen to anyone not in their age group.
