Dodgers choke, headline made my day!
And what made it even more perfect, was that "Mr. Dodger" Kershaw, got lit up for back to back HRs.
Perfect!
After 106 wins, a Dodger team record, and a dominating season, not to mention payroll, and in the first round, they get to go home.
Perfect!
Just perfect!

Despite my other post, I agree. And I like seeing the Harper-less Nats advance to the NLCS for the first time. I bet he's kicking himself about now.

What a great, GREAT point, boagie!

Barry Bonds was the best player of this generation, but the Giants didn’t win with him and they won three times after he left. That’s not Barry’s fault and this isn’t Bryce’s fault.

Of course it's not Bryce's fault, Mark, and I don't believe boagie was implying that.
I was excited with the Nationals winning without him, because he's an absolute, arrogant, hot dogging, jackass.
And I never, EVER root for guys like that.
Thus, my elation.

The fact is a great player like Bonds or Harper can mask other deficiencies and in a short series ANY player can be neutralized by good pitching. This is why it was the absolute wrong move to keep Bumgarner rather than get value for him
