When reached for a quote, Farhan Zaidi said, “I did it so Randy would stop complaining.”

Theres a difference between complaining and inquiring. If he really wanted to stop my complaining, he would quit and let the Giants find a real baseball man...or at least trade our most valuable chips

Now, they had darned well better put the kid in the line up tonight and tomorrow night!
But I don't think Bochy will do that.
Personally, I sit Dickerson, and play Jaylin.
If I had my way, they'd sit Belt, too.
All year long they've waited for him to get hot... and it ain't happening.
Don't know what's wrong, and I don't care.
Let's let Shaw get some swings and see what he can do.
Pipe dreams. Gotta love 'em!

Well he played, had an infield hit and walked. And we won! Hope to see much more of him. He was also timed with the second fastest time recorded by a Giant from home to first this year, so we know all that power comes with plenty of speed. With Dickerson still being hurt, I don’t see why Davis wouldn’t be out there every day.

Totally agree, Mark.
Now, we need to see Belt sit and Shaw play.

I guess Bochy sat Davis last night because he didn’t want him in against the great Kershaw. Mr. Dubon certainly had no problem with him though! Maybe the young kids ARE the ones who should play against him, after all they don’t have a whole decade of failure against him to think about.

It might have been too early to let Davis face that slider.
As to the kids, I posted a thread: Caution Children at Play, which pretty much sums up your point.
