MLB.com has chosen Bruce Bochy as its manager of the decade and Buster Posey as the decade's top catcher. Madison Bumgarner was chosen as the #5 starting pitcher of the decade, with Brandon Crawford the #5 shortstop. Hunter Pence was chosen as the #9 right fielder. Although he had nothing to do with the Giants' success in the decade thus far, Evan Longoria was chosen the #4 third baseman.
The bests in those areas were chosen as manager Joe Maddon (#2), catcher Yadier Molina (#2), Clayton Kershaw (#1), Troy Tulowitzki (#1) and Andrelton Simmons (#2), Giancarlo Stanton (#1) and Adrian Beltre (#1).
Brandon Belt didn't make the top 10 first baseman, but he was chosen as an honorable mention. Joey Votto was chosen as the #1 first baseman of the decade. The top executives haven't been chosen, but Brian Sabean would have almost certainly made the top 10 and probably would have made the top 5, although he is one of the most opinion-dividing GM's in baseball history. Depending on how one looks at it, it is possible the Giants themselves would have been chosen the decade's top team with their three World Championships.
The top player and pitcher of the decade are of course the two nonpareils, Mike Trout (player) and Kershaw (pitcher), although they haven't been formally selected.
