Nice job by the Panda killing what would have been an amazing comeback victory...Thats what happens when you disrespect the game by coming into the season as an overweight whale..Then again, he gets paid about 18m this year for eating to his hearts desire and its none other than the Giants fault for tolerating it...No reason why a MLB player doesnt beat that out but of course the Panda has to hit into that DP because he is a fat ass...If it isnt playing sloppy on defense than it's this....But...But...But...he is a great presence in the clubhouse!! ya, alot good that does us...Another simple example why this club aint going anywhere soon and I put this all on the great Bochy himself...If it were up to Farhan I believe he'd be long gone...

And as to last nights game...Great job by our "ACE" letting the dodgers score 5 unearned runs..It starts with an error, then a walk to the pitcher on 4 pitches and ultimately ends on a Batting practice pitch yielding a 2 oot grand slam to put the game out of reach..With "ACES" like this who needs anything else....

It was a disappointing loss, but overall Madison hasn't pitched that badly. And as is often the case in baseball, if Pablo had hit the ball in a slightly different direction, or if the Dodgers had overshifted, the result would have been much more favorable.
All in all, I thought it was a very nice comeback, even if the ending disappointed.

Look at it this way...If Pablo had any self pride as an athlete, the game would have been at least tied given where the ball was hit

I have to admit, Mordy, when I saw that Seager was going to be able to get to the ball, while the Giants have some speed that would have beaten the play out at first, I expected a double play. A faster runner would have made it closer, and a much faster runner would have beaten out the double play.
Shortstop defense is becoming a thing of beauty these days. I've been amazed at the balls to short that are sometimes turned into twin killings -- sometimes without the play at first being particularly close.
That's not to say that Pablo shouldn't be in better shape, but I think he's one of those guys who seemingly gains weight simply by looking at food.

Let me be clear...I wasnt in favor of keeping Pablo this year even though I love him.
That said, from what I have seen, there are many players enshrined in Cooperstown that make Pablo look like a Greek God. This loss falls squarely on the shoulders of our "ace" Bumgarner, and nobody else. This team is awful and when we can't even get a decent start from our best pitcher we may as well give it up.

And when Bum couldn't throw a strike to a pitcher who was bunting... I almost lost my dinner.
This is the Major Freaking League...not little league.
That crap simply cannot happen, especially to a pitcher of Bum's stature.
It can't.

As I fast-forwarded the remote last night, I briefly thought Pablo was warming up in the bullpen. Turned out to be the King.

Did you fast forward the remote, or the game?

I fast-forwarded the remote, which fast-forwarded the game. Which sped up the loss.
