You have to wonder exactly What The F was going on inside Suarez' head. Story hits a tape measure bomb and what do you do? You give him another one down Broadway and he hits one that hasn't landed yet. And then, I guess just for fun you give him another one to crush. What the hell is wrong with you? I mean really?
What a MORON.

Neither pitch was down the middle Randy.
Go back and look again.
Pitch 1 almost hit him in the right foot, and pitch two, was in the strike zone at the ankles.
He WAS stupid, don't get me wrong.
Pitching Story DOWN is downright DIPSTICKLY idiotic!
It's like Blach pitching Gonzalez down and away the night before.
Don't these clowns ever LOOK at hot zones in scouting reports?
I'm guessing they do... but then ignore them.

When someone is as hot as Story, I give him the Barry Bonds treatment...especially in Denver

When someone is as hot as Story, I give him the Barry Bonds treatment...especially in Denver Rog -- I'm with you here, Randy. Especially in the first game of a series, I'm surprised teams don't give a red hot hitter the Bonds treatment in order to try to break his momentum. I've mentioned this before, but the Astros did a study about how to pitch to Barry at various times. The conclusion was to pitch to him with no outs, two walk him with two outs and to let the game situation dictate how to pitch to him with one out. If we think about it, it makes considerable sense. With no outs, Barry is reasonably likely to score if he is walked. With two outs, the odds are much lower that he will score and the odds that he will score because of a home run RATHER than a walk increase. It's a lot easier to score after walking with no outs and having two outs to score than walking with two outs and having even one out destroy your chance of scoring. By the way, the recommendation with one out was not to do either exclusively, but to let the game situation determine which way to go.
