If you get a chance, take a look at discussions of the new labor law for the minor leagues. Based on what I know about it anyway, it is ridiculous.
The minimum salary for minor league players has been raised from $1100 to $1160 per month. Big deal. In exchange, players are exempt from overtime laws.
How pathetic is it that baseball, making huge amounts of millions of dollars, needs to limit its minor leaguers to a minimum of $1100? How well would we be able to live on $1100 per month?
It's simply stupid and unfair.
