First ST broadcast of the year...playing your hated rival...how does Bochy treat the fans? Runs out a bunch of non roster pitchers with no name on the back with ZERO chance of not being rocked. Thanks a lot Bruce.

We all like to see the regulars, but isn't spring training about getting guys ready and development?

Thanks a lot Bruce. Bochy always looks hard at the rookies or newbies to the club for 2 weeks or so. It usually is not until the last 2 weeks that he starts his regular guys in most games. I'm heading to Phoenix next week which is about when the lineup starts to resemble the finished product. First season game this year is March 29th I believe.

It's really early, but how about some predictions of the roster? I'll get it started:
Rotation -- Just what we're expecting. Madison, Johnny, Jeff, Chris and Ty.
Bullpen -- This is harder. Melancon, Smith (DL), Dyson, Watson, Gearrin, Strickland, Holland and Snelten (three lefties)
C -- Easy. Posey and Hundley
INF -- Belt, Panik, Crawford, Longoria, Tomlinson and Sandoval
OF -- Pence, McCutchen, Jackson, Blanco, Williamson
Some of those will be wrong, but the question is -- which ones?
Notes:
Chase D'Arnaud has stolen three bases. Last season he stole five bases in 58 at bats. He is the older brother of Mets catcher Travis D'Arnaud.
Former Giants Matt Moore has agreed to give his #55 to former Giant Tim Lincecum.
I suspect we've seen that Tim's older brother Sean passed away at age 37 on February 22nd. Sean was said to have a talent and motion similar to Tim until Sean twice hurt his throwing shoulder playing football. Physically somewhat the opposite of Tim, Sean was something like 6-foot-3, 240.
