As Giants Candlestick announcer Jeff Chandler would have said it, "Batting second for the ... Number 19 ... Alvin Dark."
So far we've got Joe Panik with four points, Steven Duggar with three, the Giants center fielder (no matter who) with three, and Brandon Belt and Andrew McCutchen with one each.
So whom would we like to see batting second?
I'll go with:
1. Joe Panik -- traditional #2 hitter who gets on base
2. Brandon Belt -- gets on base, doesn't hit into double plays, and provides pop, which is the new things with #2 hitters
3. Andrew McCutchen -- a new age kind of #2 hitter. Gets on base and hits with pop.

1. Panik- obviously 2. McCutchen- I don't think we lose much by having McCutchen in the leadoff, 2nd or 3rd spot in the lineup. He has pop, but more recently in his career he's been a doubles and triples hitter which makes for a good table setter. 3. Belt- I hope this doesn't happen because it means Bochy was forced to move him there again for his failure to drive in runs, but the rest of our guys are more geared for driving in runs, not scoring them.

Jeffrey was the best PA announcer in Giants history. Ever since the Giants decided to appease women, the gameday experience has been less enjoyable.

Was Jeff Chandler the PA guy in the 80's and early 90s...if so, didn't he get caught molesting children?

You may be right, Boagie, although I can't find it online. The molestation by a Jeff Chandler did occur, but it may have been a different Jeff Chandler.
I wish it weren't anyone, but certainly not the Giants' ex-PA announcer. As was the norm those days, he was understated and probably because I remember it from my youth, seemed to be just the right technique.
I have to say though that my favorite is the guy in Denver. As Kruk and Kuip have said, his voice makes then them feel inadequate.
As an aside, my favorite PA announcer call came regularly back in the Julius Erving days in Philadelphia. When The Doctor dunked, PA announcer Dave Zinkhoff would exclaim, "HOUSE-call!" I'm pretty sure Dave was also the PA announcer back when the Warriors played there.
The game Wilt scored 100 points ( 57th or so anniversary coming up later this month) was in Hershey, PA, not in Philly. What I find most ironic is that the Warriors' PR man (can't remember his name right now) hand-wrote "100" on a blank piece of paper, and Wilt held it up for the photo that was taken that night to commemorate the event. Not quite as sophisticated as it would be today!
I heard a personal recording of the game played on KNBR many years ago. If you want to read an entertaining and informative book, read "The Night Wilt Scored 100."
Do you remember much about that game, Don? It was played against the Knicks. Not only that, but Wilt lived in New York and rode back to the Big Apple with some of the Knicks' players after the game.
The sports world was a little different back then, and in fact, the Warriors moved to San Francisco (where they put on those wonderful jerseys that proclaimed "The City") within a couple of years. They came about five years later than the Giants.
