I see the Giants just signed 2 utility infielders; Alen Hansen and Josh Rutledge.
I remember when Josh first came up on 2010. I thought he was going to be a player for Colorado.
Didn't happen.
Hansen, from what I can find, can run!
Plus he's a switch hitter.
If I'm Kelby... I don't feel really comfortable about this... UNLESS there's a deal involving Panik in the works.
Man! I do not want to see that!

Rutledge and Hansen are good depth players. Both can hit adequately for backups, although neither one can field much.

Which players would you recommend getting, Randy, and what would it take to do so?
Hansen and Rutledge are merely depth players, who at least have major league experience.
When is the last time you said something good about the Giants?

I agree, Rog. For that reason alone they are good signings.
