As each day passes, and more and more players are traded, none of whom are going to the Giants, it looks as if they're going to have to change the name of the street upon which AT&T is located to, (Quoting the title from an early Simon and Garfunkle song) "Bleeker Street."
Roger, among others have been pointing out that we have little to offer in the way of trades, and what other teams are asking for, Heliot, for example, have been ridiculous, one sided offers.
More and more it seems we're in for a long, painful season

I keep hoping for a miracle. Maybe the Giants can shore up a few areas and have their returning players have as good a season as they had bad last season. That would do it. It's just that the odds of that happening aren't high.

Rog -- I have to ask Don on this one: When the Giants drafted Ramos, you were very down on their pick, feeling that they had drafted more of an athlete than a baseball player. I'm not as sold on Heliot as most, seeing a low floor to go along with his obviously high ceiling. But I'm curious as to what you didn't like about Heliot in particular that initially soured you on the pick. Read more: sfgiantsmessageboard.proboards.com/thread/4199/opinion?page=1#ixzz51J8vkkY9
