One blog I read expressed a concern over Hunter Strickland. Not that he isn't a good pitcher. He is. And that's what makes this situation harder.
What in the world was Hunter doing settling a score from 2014 with Bryce Harper. It's easy to see why Hunter was upset with Harper, who is a jerk, but to settle a score two and a half years later? And put your teammates at risk for retaliation? One Giants player (Michael Morse) was placed on the disabled list as it was.
Hunter's rage wasn't to be denied. It took three really strong guys to pull him away from his stupidity. I don't specifically recall it, but it was written that he essentially shoved Hunter Pence in the face.
If Hunter wanted to show up Harper, why not simply strike him out? And if he's not good enough to strike out Harper -- who has struck out nearly once every four at bats against pitchers who were merely trying to get him out, not necessarily strike him out -- just step down for crying out loud.
It has been written that the heart is a lonely hunter. Does Hunter have his team at heart?
So the question has to be asked: Is Strickland a team player -- or is he a me player? Should he remain on the team, or should he become trade market meat?

I would guess he's gone.
And I say that based upon what bochy 'didn't say.'
Though I think Harper is a first class jackass on the field, what with his antics and all... I don't think that 2 years later is an appropriate time to drill him.
However, that said, based solely upon his antics in the dugout back in 2014, he certainly deserved it.
I watched the replays of him taunting Strickland from the dugout after one of his HRs... and that hot dog way he goes around the bases would tick me off, too.
But the time to drill him was IN that series, or the next year.
Not now.
Strickland was way out of line.
What he did was NOT the Giant way, and because of that... I'd look for him to be moved.
Don't need hot heads like that on the team.
Plus, he got Morse hurt.
