First, what impressed me.
1-Hwang's bat speed. Man! this was only the 4th at bat I've seen from him, but that bat is quick and in the hitting zone a long, long time!
As opposed to someone with a long swing, or a tilted swing, such as Belt has, who's bat is not.
2-Hwang's arm at 3B. I didn't know what to expect, but that kid looks to have a rifle! Threw a bullet with out much effort.
3-Beede's composure
4-The quantity of off speed stuff that Jeffy the Stubborn threw. He keeps that up, I'll have to change his moniker.
5-Arroyo's power to the opposite field. Threw the knob, barreled the ball.
6-Panik's at bats. 2 outs, but hard hit outs.
What DIDN'T impress me.
1-Samardizja. Up in the zone, and a LOT, again.
Then again, he was coming into the game with only 7 innings under his belt. Not really enough for a big tall guy to get in sync.
2-Jimmy Rollins. I've now seen 8 or 9 at bats by Jimmy, and I can see why he hit something like .242 last year. That bat finds lots of air and not a lot of baseball.
Wasn't impressed by either his arm, nor his range in the field.
