Once again, Time-Warner is giving the finger to Dodger fans, and baseball fans in general, blacking out the game.
The only game I 'MAY' get is tomorrow, IF they don't black out the ESPN telecast
But even before I tuned in and saw that Bumgarner had already given up 2 runs, 1 to Sedg... WHO? I didn't feel good about this series.
Before I saw the score, I was going to post that I thought we'd win tonight, and lose the next 2, dropping the series 2 games to 1.
Now, I don't think we'll win any.
Game, set, match.
ON the pregame show, which I DID get... Krukow said that Madison had on his Vogelsong face.
Really, Madison?
Really?
Nice job.
Well, you put on your Vogelsong face all right, giving up 2 runs in 2 inning and PITCHING like Vogelsong pitched last year!
Again, nice job.
You haven't been the Madison I remember, and the Madison I EXPECTED, most of this second half.
And that debacle against the Mets last week?
I should have known not to get my hopes up.
2010,2012,2014 were teams of destiny.
Down the stretch they pitched and PLAYED baseball.
This group turns my stomach.
For ME... FOR ME... this total collapse is right up there with 1951, when the Dodgers blew a 13 1/2 game lead.
And the Phillies of 1964 when all they had to do was win ONE FREAKING game out of the last 7... and lost them all.
This season will stick in my craw until my grave.
This one is on the players who flat out didn't come back ready to play after the break, and THAT is something I will never forgive.
Never!
Roger may forgive, others may forgive, but I will not.
Not that it matters much because no one really seems to care.
The players sure don't.
And so many of ya'all keep thinking it'll all magically turn around...
Sigh...
The way this season is an utter and complete humiliation for Giant fans everywhere; a nightmare; a dark tunnel with no light at the end.
And to think I waited from October of last year to now... for this.
Thanks for the memories, boys.
Thanks.
