I stated frequently and emphatically that this was the best Giant team I've ever seen.
But right now, these clods just can't seem to be able to get out of their own way.
Not only that, but this has been a season of "MOSTLY" bad luck.
Every year a team runs into patches where they hit balls right at other players.
But this year, IMHO, we're on a record breaking pace.
First it was Duffy constantly hitting the ball hard but at someone.
Now it's Panik AND Duffy, and to a lesser extent, everyone else.
I'm tired of watching the other team check a swing... only to bloop the ball in a dead spot.
Or hit a ground ball where no one is.
We've had very, very few, in comparison, breaks like that go our way.
Last night we, surprisingly, got 2: the ball that hit Saunders in the head, and Crawford's weird double.
Then again, we once again stranded RISP, so nothing has really changed.
But back to my point. If things continue, we will set the record for flat out bad luck on hard hit balls.
and I DON'T believe things even out, and when Kuiper is being honest, neither does he.
This team has the talent to be out in front by 4 or 5 games.
But due to mostly Peavy and Cain, bad luck and injuries to Kontos and Romo, we're at .500.
It's time for this bunch to go on a hot, hot HOT streak.
Not going to happen tonight, as I expect Cain to be lit up like a pumpkin candle on Halloween.

Tired of watching Span's half hearted at-bats and fielding. Time to give Blanco some time in CF.

Rog, I defy you to find me a large percentage of players who agree with your statement.
Those are the kinds of statements people who never played about Little League or Pony league make.
