My wife and I will be gone from the 27th of December until the 4th of January, and I wanted to take a few seconds to wish everyone a very, Merry Christmas.
And to Mordy, and to any others of the Jewish faith, to also wish you all a belated but very heart-felt, happy Hanuka!!

You beat me to it, Boly. My son celebrated the Jewish Chinese Christmas last night, and is celebrating the standard Christmas today. A couple of years ago I sent him a Christmas present and chose Amazon's free gift greeting "Mazel tov." Sadly, my son missed the greeting, or I'm sure he would have gotten a kick out of it. His name is Aaron, so many of his Jewish work friends assume he's Jewish.
I am reminded that my parents, my family and I used to spend every Christmas Eve hosting our Jewish friends. If anyone knows Josh Adande from ESPN (He does mostly the NBA), the friends were his grandparents.
One Christmas Eve we pulled up and saw that Gus and Marian Oberstein had bought a new Toyota Camry. I told Gus I really liked his new "Camry" and wound up spending the next several minutes learning all about his new CAMERA instead. Clearly I need to enunciate more that way.
Anyway, again, Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah. Let's remember too that our Muslim neighbors don't celebrate Christmas, so it can be a stressful time for them. Remember too that not everyone who looks to be Muslim is a terrorist. There is no reason to terrorize them.
Let's allow Christmas and Hanukkah to be times of racial and ethnic peace. Even though some choose sides, we're all in this life together.
