Ya'll probably think that Cy Young won 511 games...
We'll, you'd be wrong.
He won 515.
Yep!
He did!
And ya'all probably think he's dead, too.
Well, based upon the last four games, he ain't, and I gots me some proof, too!
Cy Greinke, Cy Kershaw, Cy Rusin, and Cy De La Rosa pitched against us these last four games.
Cy pitched four consecutive games, and beat us every time!
Thus, he now has 515 wins!
Kind of tough beating a Ghost or a Haint.
And Spectres? Well, as people I knew years ago would say; "Fuh gedda 'boud it!"
And if it wasn't Cy or his Ghost... well that doesn't say much about our guys now, does it.
Nope, it does not.

Cy Kershaw really IS Cy. It is conceivable that when he retires, Clayton will be considered right up there with Cy, who is generally considered the 2nd-best pitcher of all time, behind only Walter Johnson and just ahead of Christie Mathewson and Grover Cleveland Alexander (what a great name!). I'm not sure any pitcher has accomplished as much as Clayton has by the age of 27.
As an aside, we talk about the Giants' pitching not being good enough, but sometimes it's the hitting.
