It's a groin and he was feeling pretty good after the game, so hopefully it's not serious. Any scenario where Belt is replaced by Joaquin Arias is disastrous. I would move McGehee to first and start Duffy. And all my worst fears were realized with the washed up Ryan Vogelsong. Keep giving him loyalty contracts Sabean! And keep leaving him in the game too long Bochy!

Mark -- It's a groin and he was feeling pretty good after the game, so hopefully it's not serious. Any scenario where Belt is replaced by Joaquin Arias is disastrous. I would move McGehee to first and start Duffy. Rog -- Casey has started 62 games at first, so perhaps he's ready for it. I hope the Giants worked him out there during the spring and that they did so with Duffy as well. Mark -- And all my worst fears were realized with the washed up Ryan Vogelsong. Keep giving him loyalty contracts Sabean! Rog -- At just $4 million, Ryan was an excellent signing. In his three healthy seasons with the Giants, he has pitched very well, well and so-so. That's quite a find for $4 million. Clearly he didn't get the job done last night, but he should provide good insurance over the long haul. If it makes you feel any better, Ryan has had troubles in April before bouncing back in the other months. In his three full seasons with the Giants he has posted 4.19, 6.23 and 5.40 before righting his ship in later months. He's not exactly a strong starter. (And yes, I realize that may be JUST what you are saying!) Mark -- And keep leaving him in the game too long Bochy! Rog -- That did seem to be the case. Managers try to keep their pitchers in long enough to get the win, but Bruce should have been more proactive IMO. Remember, Yusmeiro Petit was OUTANDING on his first 25 pitches last season. Randy -- hangnail Belt is hurt again...lovely
Rog -- Why would we come up with such a foolish nickname? Let's hope Brandon is back soon. He should be very important to the Giants' success this season.
