I don't know about you guys but I'm really enjoying Randy Winn on the pre and post game shows as opposed to the truly annoying Bill Laskey and Vida Blue. Those guys reminded me of two old farts telling the same old boring stories on their front porches. I hope this continues for the rest of the season because if I have to see Vida and Laskey in the postseason it would be way irritating

Sigh... I wish I had access to those shows, Randy.
DirecTV doesn't even let us watch the ON field interviews directly after the game.

I love the MLB package, but it cuts off the moment the game is over. Boly, I believe you can have CSNBA full time if you spend about 5-10 dollars more per month for the total sports package. I can't get it anymore because I switched to Fios.

Randy is a really good guy, and he comes from a great high school!

Randy attended San Ramon High School, the same school as Nate Schierholtz.
I do realize you were talking about attending Mitty yourself. And you have every right to be proud.
Speaking of great high schools, anyone here who HASN'T seen "When the Game Stands Tall." I've seen it twice and enjoyed it even more the second time. About the only thing I didn't like is that one of the key characters was made up. The true stuff though is exceptional.
I highly recommend the movie for anyone who cares about motivational coaching. I also recommend it for just about everyone else.
In fact, I'm going to recommend I go see it a third time myself!

Mark--I love the MLB package, but it cuts off the moment the game is over. Boly, I believe you can have CSNBA full time if you spend about 5-10 dollars more per month for the total sports package. I can't get it anymore because I switched to Fios. Re--boly says--- Mark, I've got a great wife! And I mena, GREAT! An example; a couple of years back we were on a Royal Caribbean cruise and took an excursion to snorkle on a "small, private, tiny(!) island on the Dutch side. Snorkling was terrible. I get back to shore and my wife says; "I think you need to walk over that sand dune and see what's on the other side." "Why?" I foolishly ask. "Trust me," she says. So I do. The OTHER have of the 300 yard x 200 yard island was a nude beach... with some DROP DEAD beauties sun bathing and walking around! I come back smiling and she says, "I think this this the part where you say, 'thank you.' " Which you can bet I did! Do I have a great wife, or what! She never, ever minds me watching the Giants or Rams, or football on Sundays. But if I tell her I need even one more dollar for one more DirecTV item... I think she'll boil me in oil! With the movie channels, baseball and football... I think it's wise for me not to get greedy. Sigh... I sure wish I'd win that LOTTO! boly

Yeah, my wife is terrific too, but she definitely thinks I spend way too much money on TV and Internet. The funny thing is that you can probably just have Internet, and then pay 7.99 for a TV service like Hulu, 10.00 for a movie service like Netflix and then just buy Internet sports packages and get everything you have with cable or satellite and save a ton of money, and yet I don't do it. Maybe when I'm retired, I'll get smarter!
