You're tired of reading it, I'm tired of seeing it; inexplicable moves from a man who's a really good manager.
At least that's been the reputation he's earned.
In the last month? Not so.
1-Pinch hitting the struggling Arias for Crawford. Even Krukow commented on it. In my book, that was on beyond stupid, or a manager over managing.
2-Running a struggling and bumbling, no confidence Romo out there to face 2 LEFT HANDED HITTERS was ridiculous!
Even to the guy sitting up in row 7,244 can see that Romo's confidence is shot, and putting him in THAT situation was the same as throwing a drowning man a lead anchor.
Not smart.
Not smart at all.
Now sure, Lopez gave it up to Votto later on... but at THAT moment in time, LOPEZ vs Votto was the play. Not RomBlown.
3-Rally killing double plays because Bochy REFUSES to start runners are up near the top of the list of things that are killing this team and his teams' fans. Happened again last night.
4-How bad does Romo have to get before this guy makes a change? Wasn't this the same complaint we ALL had with Dusty Baker? He waited far too long to make changes?
I mean, If I'm Romo, I'm looking for a hole to crawl into or gun to put to the side of my head I stink so badly. You could see it on his face. He was humiliated! But he had to stand out there in front of 42,000 fans and worse, his teammates with no where to hide.
My heart broke for the guy. It really did. Bochy threw a dying man under a thundering bus.
Nice job, Bruce. Nice job. Your compassion underwhelms me.
5-How bad does BLANCO have to get before HE gets a PERMANENT seat on the bench?
And in today's articles, they're thinking about replacing him with Perez!
Make no mistake, I LOVE Perez... but this idea is flat out stupid! Vs LHP maybe, but ignoring Colvin, is, IMHO, brain dead stupid.
6-Bochy continues to say that the team has to pull out of it together. Well I've got news for old Puddin' Head... he's a part of WE. His decisions have to get better because he's a part of the team and frankly, he's not doing his job very well.
