The Giants sent Santiago Casilla to San Jose for his rehab, and he actually started last night and pitched one inning, striking out the side in order. He supposedly looked so good that the Giants are thinking of ending the rehab and activating him tomorrow. Bochy said he will return to his eighth inning role, and Machi will go back to the seventh, despite being the greatest reliever of all time. In related news, Brandon Belt waved to Bochy when he saw him, and Bochy decided he's healthy and he'll hit third tomorrow. Marco Scutaro will hit second after successfully getting out of bed in the morning. I'm kidding about Belt and Scutaro, and wish I was kidding about Casilla, who I think should throw another couple of rehab innings at least.
