Joe Panik is hitting .308 but with only a .411 SLG. 21 strikeouts and 18 walks in 185 at bats, so he's putting the bat on the ball and showing patience. An impressive campaign thus far.
Gary Brown is hitting just .263 with 40 strikeouts and 17 walks in 194 at bats. He recently had a two-assist game, but he has been thrown out 6 times while stealing 7.
Brown's problems have been made clearer by Juan Perez's .389 average.
Adam Duvall is up to .294, still with 15 homers. 41 strikeouts and 17 walks though.
Andrew Susac broke out of a little slump with 2 for 4 last night and his hitting .277/.382/.521/.903 with 24 strikeouts and 13 walks.
Travis Ishikawa something in the .340's. Tony Abreu .301. Nick Noonan in the .270's.
Edwin Escobar is at 5.05, with Jake Dunning at 2.62 and Dan Runzler at 0.89. Heath Hembree is at 2.65 with 10 saves.
At Richmond:
Angel Villona at .268 with 38 strikeouts and 10 walks. Glad the Giants didn't bring HIM up.
Shortstop Matt Duffy a dark horse .304.
Ty Blach at 2.44. Clayton Blackburn at 3.40. Both pitchers with good walks but light on strikeouts.
Kyle Crick is heavy on both walks and strikeouts with 20 and 29 in 24.2 innings. His ERA is down to 3.28 with just one run in his last nine innings. If he doesn't start today's game, he may have an injury.
Derek Law is 2.79 with 11 saves. An uncharacteristic 10 walks in 19.1 innings though.
The guys at Fresno plus Law could each be up before September. Quite a few will be up in the season's final month.
