And yet when asked to name said lies Don, all we hear are crickets. Dead silence from you. Just the same old juvenile BS. Hands over ears screaming "It's all lies". You really shouldn't attempt to engage here Don. You're beyond ignorant, and have no argument other than what an eight year old would make.

dk...you and your Repugs have failed to prove any of the pyramid of lies you put out but that has been going on for 6 years, so what is new...[/quote
Apparently, like Obama and his minions, you don't grasp the concept of videotape. He's on tape lying about Obamacare numerous times. There's your proof. Hard to see and hear with your head in the sand though, isn't it?

Rog -- Clearly I agree with you, not Don, regarding Buster, but (even though I admit I've thought about doing so myself), there is no cause to call him "old man."
Clearly Don made a huge mistake here, and that in itself may speak to his bias.
Dood - I guess if I were as old as him, I would be able to call you a "doo doo" without you calling me out on it? I get it now, Mr. Hypocrite.

Actually, yeah. I would respect the elder statesman of this board and if he called me a name, I would let it pass. Sticks and stones, my friend!

Read all the above CAREFULLY, Randy.
By the way, I hope you know that I really want Gary Brown to succeed (along with Joe Panik, whom I had a higher evaluation of but who also stumbled badly last season). A recent evaluation of the Giants' minor league system had them ranked #26, citing pitcher by 7 pitchers the depth of young starters the Giants have, but speaking to their dearth of position prospects, specifically citing the drop of both Brown and Panik.
That pair is expected to play together at Fresno this season, so hopefully they'll rebound. They should be playing with Andrew Susac, who last season passed both of them as prospects. Edwin Escobar and perhaps one or two of the other pitching youngsters should be there before season's end. I would guess Edwin would open the season there. Brian Sabean seems particularly excited about him.
Escobar was acquired for minor league southpaw Ben Snyder in an April 1, 2010 trade with the Rangers. Snyder, the Giants' 2006 fourth-round draft choice mentioned here as a future LOOGY candidate, was selected from the Giants by the Orioles in the 2009 Rule V Draft.
The Orioles then traded Snyder to the Rangers along with reliever Chris Ray for Kevin Millwood. The Rangers wanted to keep Snyder but not keep him in the majors, so they traded the 17-year-old Escobar, who hadn't pitched above the Rookie League for the ability to not have to give Snyder back to the Giants.
The following summer, the Giants also acquired Ray from the Rangers in the Bengie Molina trade. Ray did some important relief work for the soon-to-be World Champions before being injured later in the season.
Some weird tie-ins regarding Escobar, Snyder, Ray and Molina, and the Giants wound up with a gem for a pitcher (Snyder) who never made it past AAA and didn't pitch in organized ball last season. These trades were made just four years ago or less, but the only player still active is the highly-prized Escobar, still just 21 years old.

dk..lets see...Obama made a statement about medical care and insurance companies made sure it became false....
Dood - sorry, too little too late. He realized he was caught in a huge lie and tried a desperate ploy which he knew had no chance of succeeding in order to try to save face. Unfortunately, all those hundreds of times he LIED about us being able to keep our plans and doctors, NOT ONCE did he ever qualify it by saying "unless the insurance companies actually follow my law instead of going against it."
and Obama delayed some requirements to help straighten things out...
Dood - actually he delayed it for political purposes. He's trying to lessen the effect on the next elections.
and Dood frets and raves and makes all kinds of charges against the president......
Dood - it's not just me. EVERYONE hates this law. If it was so good, why did he exampt all those unions and other cronies of his?
Bush lied through his teeth about WMD and threw the country into 2 wars and thousands of people killed and maimed and Dood says not one word and wants very much to get people of that ilk back in the White House
Dood - Bush was going on the latest intel. That we later were unable to locate WMDs in Iraq doesn't change the fact that a president has to trust in such intel as is priovided.
...and he cries Hypocrisy...
Dood I wasn't calling hypocrisy about Obama or you in this thread...just Rog and Rx
and I don't mind being called old, because I am...but so far (knock on wood) my memory is fine and my mind remains fairy well enough to cope with the modern world....
Dood - so you admit that there is no excuse for you using poor manners and calling me "doodoo" like a 2 year old might?

Don, your version has about as much truth to it as the Obama Presidency. Obama knowingly lied about people being able to keep your doctor and insurance. People in the administration have said as much. Sibelius has said as much. That's why they put all the unnecessary requirements on the new plans, to force all those people on to the Obamacare plans. He lied because he knew if he told the truth re-election would have been impossible.
When it all blew up in his face, as anyone who had read the law (which didn't include Obama, btw) knew it would. He tried to make changes and special allowances. Two problems. One, he doesn't have the authority to unilaterally change the law once it's been passed. That goes against the Constitution. (Of course that's not a problem for Obama. Just for Presidents who abide by the law).Problem two: It's too late. All these people have already lost their insurance, doctors, hospitals etc.
Bush on the other hand, didn't intentionally lie. As Randy said, he was going on the available intel, and they could have moved the weapons ,like say, to Syria.
I like the Freudian slip in saying your mind remains "fairy well". As in fairy tale.
