We have our left fielder, and it's the big guy, Mike Morse. I'm guessing he'll be the everyday starter at first with Blanco coming in for defense, but I guess we'll see about that.

it all depends on how he does against righties. If he's horrible, I'm sure Blanco will get more starts, plus Bochy likes defense.

The plan now is for Morse to play everyday, as I predicted, no platoon. I'm sure if he struggles or doesn't stay healthy, we'll see plenty of Blanco.

A Morse is a Morse, of course, of course, and no one can sign up a Morse, of course, unless of course the name of the Morse is the famous Mr. Giant.

Are you throwing me a knuckle ball by saying Wilbur Wood talks to the horse? Or are you flying Wright over my head?

Mr. Ed's owner was named Wilbur. When Ed became exasperated with him or Wilbur cracked a joke at Edspense, he id "Ahhh, Wilbur".

I was just trying to carry on the farce. Didn't Ed give kind of a half neigh when he said "WILbur?"

Perhaps. It's been more than awhile since I've seen that show.
