The Diamondbacks just obtained Trumbo from the Angels.
Not good for NL west teams.
Trumbo could hit 40+ in THAT band box!
I think that, when healthy, we still have a better team, but facing Trumbo and Goldy back-to-back cannot be something pitchers are excited about.
Then again, Trumbo is a butcher in the outfield or 3B.
Come on, Brian... do something worthwhile.

I'm not worried about Mark Trumbo. Yeah, he'll hit homeruns, but a .234 BA with 184 strike outs who's bad at defense? Sounds like a glorified Mark Reynolds.

All the talk yesterday about the Snacks getting Trumbo, but I think they actually lost in that deal because they lost Tyler Skaggs and Adam Eaton. Skaggs could emerge as a pretty good pitcher and Eaton will likely turn into one of the best leadoff hitters in baseball. A really good leadoff hitter is more valuable than what Trumbo offers you.

The thing about Trumbo with AZ is they have nowhere to play him unless they move Goldschmidt. He'll hurt them defensively, and doesn't get on base much.
