Nice, NICE outting by Zito yesterday.
This was the focused Barry we saw for most of last year.
This is the Barry I hoped we'd see all year.
Boagie liked his last start, I thought it was, well, okay.
So I'll side with Boagie and say that Barry's given 2 good performances back-to-back.

When he wins one on the road, call me.

I'm just giving credit where it's due, Allen, nothing more.

Indeed. And he is due credit. He pitched tough under trying circumstances. Sorry for the somewhat callous comment.

No sweat, Allen, because I agree with you.
I'll get on the Barry-bus if and when he shows he can pitch like this, or close to it, on the road, too.
I'm just frustrated beyond belief by a club that, even though they have critical injuries, all of a sudden, has begun playing outside themselves.
Trying to do too much.
Trying to, what looks to me, like hit 3 run HRs with no one on base.
I'm being faceateous, of course, but you get my point.
Like I said in a post yesterday, I leave at 0430 tomorrow morning, and frankly, I'm glad to get away.
I've become too emotionally charged, living and dying, almost, on each pitch.
That's not healthy, and it's not right.
As my father was wont to say "They can all shove it up their giggy."

Rog -- That is more likely to happen than you think, Allen. It isn't that Barry is a great pitcher at home and a horrible one on the road as much as it is the coincidence of a small sample. NOBODY is nine or 10 runs better at home than on the road.
Allen- I might buy that if I hadn't watched the games, and if the difference weren't so great. Barry just gets hammered on the road. And it's every time.

I guess. I don't claim to know the why of it, but it's happening none the less.
