Came across the Top 100 ratings by Bleacher Report. Not surprisingly, definite differences from MLB Network. First ranking is Bleacher Report; 2nd ranking is MLB Network.
Romo -- 91 vs 99
Pagan -- 84 vs Unranked IIRC
Bumgarner 68 vs 71
Cain -- 28 vs 45
Sandoval -- Unranked vs 44
Posey -- 7 vs 21
The six chosen ahead of Buster were (6 through 1):
6 -- Felix Hernandez
5 - Clayton Kershaw
4 -- Mike Trout
3 -- Miguel Cabrera
2 -- Justin Verlander
1 -- Ryan Braun
I was surprised by Braun at #1, but upon further review as they say, he has been remarkably consistent, is well established and is still relatively young.
Bryce Harper was ranked #31, and Stephen Strasburg #32.

This seems closer to what I was thinking, if you recall I predicted Braun as #1 on the MLB network top 100. I would still rank Posey higher than 7, but 7 isn't far enough off for me to complain. Cain also seemed too low on the MLB Network list, 28 seems more appropriate

Boagie -- This seems closer to what I was thinking, if you recall I predicted Braun as #1 on the MLB network top 100. Rog -- Good call! Boagie -- I would still rank Posey higher than 7, but 7 isn't far enough off for me to complain. Rog -- After considering the possible injury factor -- and, sadly, players who suffer injuries are more likely to suffer them in the future, although Buster's was a bit of a fluke -- I think it would be hard to rank Buster HIGHER than #7. On the other hand, there are three pitchers ahead of him, and pitchers' injury possibilities are also high. Boagie -- Cain also seemed too low on the MLB Network list, 28 seems more appropriate Rog -- I think in part it depends on how one rates pitchers compared to everyday players. It seems tough for the top pitchers to have the value everyday players have, since they pitch only once every five games. On the other hand, they have more control of the game when they do. Perhaps it is the everyday players' greater impact on defense and base running that favor the everyday player.
