The Giants had four other players in the Arizona Fall League. Here is how they fared.
Heath Hembree did best. Coming back from an arm problem that slowed him from making a 2012 major league debut, he posted a 3.00 ERA while striking out 12 and walking 3 in 9.0 innings.
Dan Runzler posted a 3.38 ERA, but allowed 6 hits and 7 (!) walks in 8.0 innings, striking out 11. Dan still hasn't overcome his control problems, which are plaguing him and offsetting his very high strikeout rate.
Chris Dominguez hit .317 with 3 home runs, but his 17/2 K/BB ratio is a continuation of trend that has plagued him in his four minor league seasons.
Ricky Oropesa put himself on the fringes of the prospect map with a 16/11 K/BB ratio while hitting 2 home runs. But those 16 strikeouts came in just 47 at bats, limiting his batting average to just .234.
The bottom line is that all six Giants prospects showed at least a few foibles. Hembree, whose only flaw came in allowing a home run, appeared to show the best of the lot.
Aside from Runzler, who has already had a few stints with the Giants, Hembree appears to be the player here who will first make the majors -- perhaps opening the season with the Giants and more likely coming up during the season.

Pitching so few innings, ERA is deceiving. One bad outting can ruin your numbers.
But... 12 Ks in 9 innings? ONLY 3 walks? THAT'S impressive!
