Obviously 2010 was more exciting than 2012. The first time since coming from NY the Giants won the WS. I've been waiting for what it seemed like an eternity for that moment, and I've been waiting for less time than any of you. I think it's safe to say we all got emotional. It will never be quite like the 2010 season. After 2010 we only had to wait two years for the next one. 2012 was special in it's own way because I think it proved 2010 wasn't a fluke. But taking away that emotion in 2010 when we finally won after so long...Which was the more exciting season and what were the key moments that made each season special?
For me, if you take away the waiting factor, 2012 was more special.
The impressive comeback and MVP season from Posey.
The Matt Cain perfect game, and Blanco's catch to preserve it.
The Ryan Vogelsong story and storybook ending. Who plays Ryan in the movie?
Pablo's 3 homeruns.
Barry Zito's game of his life pitching game 5 in St. Louis.
2010 had plenty of moments too..
The call up of Buster Posey and Madison Bumgarner
Pat Burrell's homerun against the Dodgers.
All our pitchers performances down the stretch and into the post season.
The final regular season game, the triple by Jonathan Sanchez.
I'm sure I missed some things, but I'm going to stick with 2012 being the more exciting season, if you don't factor in the waiting period.

This is a bit of an unfair shot, and I'm being only partially serious here, but both seasons I enjoyed how some of our posters became distraught along the way -- and were still rewarded with World Championships.
I guess my (broader) highlights in 2010 were:
. How Brian Sabean added to the team as the season progressed.
. The comeback by Tim Lincecum from a horrendous August (I certainly never thought THEN that I would see worse from him) to be arguably the best pitcher the rest of the season and in the postseason.
. The arrival of Buster Posey, who became the cleanup hitter as a rookie.
. The team's resiliant nature.
In 2012 I liked:
. The success of the closer by committee.
. Overcoming the loss of closer Brian Wilson after just two appearances.
. Overcoming the "loss" of ace Tim Lincecum, whose ERA nearly doubled.
. Overcoming the loss of possible MVP candidate Melky Cabrera to a 50-game PED suspension.
. The amazing second half of Buster Posey.
