Would you have a go at B.J. Upton?
Boly doesn't like his poor intangibles. I don't like his career-high 14.9% swinging strike rate.
Bill James projects B.J. at .248/.329/.436/.765 this season. Those numbers are pretty close to his career marks.
I would take the under on that one.

Thought it was funny that the Rays are trying to trade for Justin Upton, but had to make sure that BJ Upton would reject their qualifying offer first. That's almost close to brothers being traded for each other, which actually happened in the NBA when Pau Gasol was traded to the Lakers for a package including the rights to his brother Mark.

Rog -- The Marc Gasol and many for Pao Gasol trade is the only time I can think of where brothers were traded for each other. Speaking of Marc, he is an example of how a guy really got into shape (Hope Pablo notices) and built a very fine career (thus far). Marc played on the same high school team as my nephew, so I got to watch him play three games in three days over Valentine's weekend of 2003. It was clear he had shooting and passing skills, but he was WAY overweight. He since has gotten into shape, including a lot of hill running, and now he is one of the most versatile centers in the NBA. By the way, Jerry West's youngest son Jonny was a freshman on that team, which made it to the Tennessee finals, but lost. Back then, Jerry's second-youngest son was scouting for the Grizzlies. I wonder if Jonny will also get into scouting. And I wonder if either will inherit and/or learn the amazing knack Jerry has for judging basketball talent.
