Randy -- With ESPN having set up shop in LA now, it's no surprise that they would feature the Dodgers in 2 of their first 3 games. Fox is probably a regional telecast, as their games of the week generally are. MLB Network broadcasts so many games that it's nearly impossible not to make it on to their schedule regularly.
Rog -- Rather than say you're not surprised that the Dodgers are on ESPN now that ESNP is set up in LA, why not point out that Giants/Dodgers games are one of the biggest rivalries around?
You don't think it is unusual and impressive that the first FIVE Giants games are on national (or as you point out on Saturday, likely regional) TV? Heck, as Don points out, the Giants themselves haven't televised FIVE games from Arizona this winter and spring.
As for the MLB Network televising so many games that it is hard NOT to be on their schedule, do you know how many games they are televising the first week of the season? 14, six of which are alternate games.
So for the Giants to have two of their games televised (out of the 14) is pretty good. In fact, the Giants are one of just four teams to have two games televised, and one of only two with two games televised as the primary game. 20% of the 30 teams don't have a single game on MLB TV, not even as an alternate. Fewer than half the teams have a game as the primary telecast.
So when it comes to primary games, the Giants have TWO more games being telecast than more than half the teams do. They wind up being on MLB TV four times in the month, or once a week.
I wouldn't say the Giants are being nearly as ignored on national TV during the season as they have been locally during spring training.
